Hitman movie review

Hitman is a 2007 underrated action movie based on the hitman video game series . The movie was directed by Xavier Gens (Who also directed Frontier(s) and starts Timothy Olyphant ( who also played in movies such as The Crazies , A Perfect Getaway , Scream 2 and others ) Olga Kurylenko ( who also played in Max Payne and Quantum of Solace .. and others ) and Dougray Scott .

The movie presents the story of the assassin under the name Agent 47 . Among his path he finds a girl (whom he was sent to kill) called Nika Boronina . During the story he finds out that he was set up and he tries to "set things right" .

The movies had a lot of negative reviews . Though it is not the best video game movie ( if ur trying to connect the video game with the movie ) , it is a pretty good action movie . About the acting : I feel the bad criticism on the acting was to big . Personally I did not find it that incredibly bad . I can't say I have not found flaws .. (like *cough cough Dougray Scott's lines * ) . The : are you telling me to **** off probably should have been a bad ass moment but it was not in my opinion..(more like a fail moment ) . I wonder if many of those reviews were truly about the acting of a non-ordinary movie character with a different profile than people u see having a normal life or was it because they have gotten to used to the way some actors act in movies and they want to see that way of acting everywhere .( I actually liked how Timothy Olyphant played most of the movie )

Another thing would be that the movie has a confusing plot . I find that people made an impression about the movie before seeing it and , therefore , were expecting one of those typical assassin kill kill and kill some more movie . Hitman as a more elaborate plot so u need to think a little to understand the story . The game series itself requires some thinking to finish them .

The movie should be viewed more as an action movie about an assassin than a movie made after the hitman video game series because the plot does not actually match with the video game plot .

Conclusion : This is a pretty good action movie but it does not have much to do with the original video game series (besides the name , appearance , and other minor details ) so if you want to watch it try to delete the game out of your mind and you might find it enjoying .

Warning : It contains nudity , blood , deaths .

It's a movie for people that like movies with :
-assassins
-action
-blood
-weapons
-evil organizations

It's not a good movie for people that
-don't like what I said above
-want to see a movie made with the plot of the game

P.S. I seriously recommend (not only at this movie) watching a movie that you want to watch even if it has bad reviews because not all movies with bad reviews are actually that bad .

A sequel is being made .. let's wait and see how will that be .

Ghost Rider 2 might not include Nicolas Cage

It seems that Sony is about to lose their right on Ghost Rider soon , and , since they haven't taught of a sequel sooner and , also, they don't want to lose their rights to the movie , they will be making a sequel fast . The second movie might not include Nicolas Cage because of his schedule .
The first movie was not one of my favourites. ( It could have been better .. , much better )
So.. will the new actor (if there will be a new actor ) be better than Nicolas Cage , or will the next movie be a fail ?(or maybe it will be with Nicolas Cage and be a total win..who knows ? ) We just have to wait and see.

Nicolas Cage is currently working on movies like : The Croods and Drive Angry . He also worked on the movie which will soon be released : The Sorcerer's Apprentice .

Murderdolls reunion

Murderdolls members Joey Jordison and Wednesday 13 have announced the reunion of the band . Unfortunately the new line-up will not include Acey Slade , Eric Griffin and Ben Graves . Though Eric Griffin was asked to be part of the new line-up , he had to decline . Ben Graves was not asked to rejoin the band . The new album will be called Women and Children Last .

About the other members :

Tripp Eisen (guitars ) stopped playing in 2005 after he was fired from Static-X because of some problems with the law .

Acey Slade(guitars) is currently promoting his new band : The Dark Party

Eric Griffin (bass) currently plays in Synical and Genitorturers

Ben graves (drums) the last thing i know about him is that he was recently featured for an ad for pearl drums

The invisible movie review

The invisible is a 2007 drama,thriller, romance movie directed by David S. Goyer ( who also directed The Unborn , wrote the screenplay for : The Crow: City of Angels , Blade II , Blade: Trinity , Batman Begins , The Dark Knight , Jumper . He was also hired to direct x-men origins : magneto and to write the screenplay for the next superman movie : The Man of Steel ;<<<) and starting Justin Chatwin (he was Goku in Dragonball Z and appeared in many movies such as War of the Worlds or TV series Lost ) and Margarita Levieva (Who also appeared in Adventureland) . The movie shows the story of a boy that gets in a coma and leaves his body. He tries to ask the others to find his body but nobody seems to hear him besides 1 person ( won't spoil ) and animals . He find out what is really said about him by his back ,how trustable his friends are and how one's "image" can be extremely deceiving . During the time he is not in his body , he changes his way of thinking and opinion about some of the people he knows . The movie contains a high moral message ,that I will let you to find out by seeing the movie , that is amplified by the drama that appears from time to time and especially in the end . This is a good movie for : - People that like romance movies - People that like movies that don't deal with actually day-to-day governments - People that like a main character different than the typical teen - People that like movies with a little mystery in them This is not good for people : - The want strict 100% realism and science - proven facts - That expect a fight movie - That don't want romance - That do not like the actors that appear in the movie - That don't want a movie with mostly teens Conclusion : I liked the movie and I think it has a nice moral message . It shows that people are not always what they seem to be . I recommend this movie :) .

Into the wild movie review

Into the wild is an 2007 American drama movie that tells the story of Christopher McCandless (played by Emile Hirsch ). Christopher McCandless (real person ) made the decision to travel all the way to Alaska with almost no money . I won't tell you his story since the movie is kinda like a biographical movie ,so,therefore,if I tell you the story of Christopher McCandless then I will spoil the movie .

The movie presents the life of a man who decided to run away from the banality of day to day life in an adventure that , probably , no one home would have tough it was achievable . He shows that ,with some difficulty , even the most unimaginable ideals can be achieved . He denies being part of a society who is tied to it's materialism and wishes to get free from those bonds so he leaves everything behind to live in the wild .

Warning : This movie contains nudism but at a minimal level .

This is a good movie for :
People that like movies with :
-Rebellious people
-People against materialism
-Stories that show that even without money , a determined person can achieve a lot
-Travel stories
-Drama

This is not good for people that :
-Hate this kind of freedom
-Do not like hippies :\
-Don't like drama movies

Conclusion : I found this movie to be very interesting and showed me that even if you are all alone without anything , you can find support and help from places you would never expect . I suggest you see this movie to find for yourself the story of "Alexander Supertramp" .

R.I.P. Peter Steele

Type 0 negative lead singer (among with bassist ) Peter Steele has passed away on April 14 2010 . The death cause is heart failure but the official cause of death will be determined after autopsy .This is a big loss for gothic metal . Rest in peace Peter Steele .

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides more info - mermaid

Besides the normal cast, the 4th Pirates of the Caribbean will also include Astrid Bergès-Frisbey . Astrid Bergès-Frisbey is a French actress and , apparently , will be playing a mermaid in the movie . This will be her first English role .

Crows Zero 1,2

Both crows zero 1 and 2 are directed by Takashi Miike . The movie is based on the manga Crows written by Hiroshi Takahashi . Though I did not read the manga I have to say the movie was pretty good . It is an action movie that tells the story of a very violent school named Suzuran . The movies don't have only high school characters but also 2 yakuza boss and their men .

The first movie presents the fights inside Suzuran while the second presents the fight between Suzuran and another school . ( P.S. though most of the movie is placed inside schools..we rarely get to see actual teachers . I think we get to see them actually only once .)

The movie starts Shun Oguri and Takayuki Yamada as the main characters .
I must say that besides some parts that I do not agree with (there always are parts where I would have changed in pretty much all movies I have seen ) this is a good movie .

This is a good movie for :
People that like Japanese / Asian movies .
People that like seeing most of the action in schools
People that like action
People that like fighting
People that like seeing strange schools .

It would not be a good movie for :
People that do not like seeing violence .
People that like order in schools
People that want to see normal characters (as in normal hair, clothing , etc)
People that do not like Asian movies .
People that do not like blood.

Movie may contain :

Destruction of property (:D)

Conclusion : It is a good movie though elderly people might not like it (for many reasons.. some might be that most of the characters are young , but , it depends on his/her preferences ) . The movie contains a lot of action and maybe even some drama and comedy . It shows the life of a student that tries to conquers a school as he struggles to achieve what his Yakuza leading father has not . He makes friends that he probably wouldn't have thought of ever making and tries to aim for success .

P.S. No..I will not focus my movie reviews on Asian movies .

Resident Evil Afterlife

After the first 3 Resident Evil movies we get the news that a fourth one is coming . The fourth movie in the horror zombie series is called Resident Evil Afterlife and it will start Alice as in all of them ( but maybe more Alice's ..as we see from the trailer <> or the previous movie ) and probably the last survivors from the convoy . As I have seen from the trailer , this time , the story might be focusing more on the war with umbrella than actually killing zombies . (tough..you can never know for sure ) .

And for some useful info :
The movie will be released on September 10 , 2010 .
It will be in 3D.
It will be directed by Paul W. S. Anderson who also directed the first Resident Evil ( and worked as a writer and producer to all of them 4 )

This is the 4Th movie in a series. I strongly suggest seeing the other 4 before this .
This is a horror movie.

OldBoy

Oldboy is a 2003 South Korean movie . The movie is directed by Park Chan-wook and is part of his Vengeance Trilogy which includes Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance , Oldboy and Sympathy for Lady Vengeance . The movie is based on the manga with the same name . It follows the story of a man who was locked up for 15 years because of something he did in the past . After he is released we are given the story of both the protagonist and the antagonist giving revenge upon each other . The antagonist wants revenge for what the protagonist made his sister do ( I shall not spoil it.. too much :) ) and so he makes the protagonist go through the same pain with his daughter .
The movie contains many ambiguous scenes such as the hypnotist one because the viewer is not told or explained until the very end what exactly happened . Also the end itself is ambiguous because it is not told what exactly happened with the protagonist .

It is also an ambiguous movie .. therefore , if you want a movie to relax you without making you think to hard this movie might not be suited . But if you want an action movie , but not the typical fighting movie , this one might be for you .
